FitPages ("we", "us", "our") is a fitness professional directory operated in the United Kingdom. Our website at getfitpages.com provides a searchable directory of fitness professionals, gyms, studios, and related businesses across the UK.

By accessing or using FitPages, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The Service

FitPages provides:

• A public directory of fitness professionals and businesses in the UK
• Profile pages with publicly available information (ratings, reviews, contact details)
• A "Claim Your Profile" feature for listed professionals to manage their listing
• An enquiry system for consumers to contact listed professionals
• Free tools including fitness calculators and market insights
• Resource guides for fitness professionals

Profile data is sourced from publicly available sources including the Google Places API. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate but do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing.

3. User Accounts

Fitness professionals can create an account by claiming their profile. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your business
• Keep your account information up to date
• Not impersonate another person or business
• Not use your account for unlawful purposes
• Be responsible for activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Claiming a Profile

By claiming a profile, you represent that you are the owner, operator, or authorised representative of the listed business. Claims are subject to verification. We reserve the right to reject or revoke claims that cannot be verified.

Claimed profiles can be edited by the account holder. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you add or modify on your profile, including descriptions, specialties, and contact details.

5. Content and Conduct

When using FitPages, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or deceptive information
• Use the service to spam, harass, or abuse other users
• Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from FitPages beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

We may remove content that violates these terms without prior notice.

6. Enquiries

FitPages facilitates contact between consumers and fitness professionals through enquiry forms. We transmit enquiries to the relevant professional but are not a party to any agreement between consumers and professionals.

We do not guarantee that professionals will respond to enquiries, nor do we vet the qualifications, insurance status, or competence of listed professionals. Consumers should conduct their own due diligence before engaging a professional.

7. Premium Services

We may offer paid premium features in the future. Any paid services will be subject to additional terms which will be presented at the point of purchase. Premium subscriptions can be cancelled at any time unless otherwise stated.

8. Intellectual Property

The FitPages name, logo, website design, and original content are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Profile data sourced from Google Places API remains subject to Google's terms of service. User-submitted content (descriptions, testimonials) remains the property of the submitting user, with a licence granted to FitPages to display it on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

FitPages is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service
• We are not liable for the actions, conduct, or services of listed professionals
• We are not liable for any inaccuracies in profile data sourced from third parties
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Profile Removal

If you are a fitness professional or business listed on FitPages and wish to have your profile removed, please contact us. We will process removal requests promptly.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website. Your continued use of FitPages after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
